Saving money when you’re skint: the student edition (part two)

Get some financial support

Many students rely on their parents, particularly in their undergraduate years. If your schedule doesn’t allow for part-time work, look into education grants and scholarships. The Educational Grants Advisory Service offers students (particularly disadvantages students) guidance and advice to help them secure funding. There are also many bursaries, scholarships and awards offered by institutions for a range of people, so whether it’s your background or your course of study, it’s only a matter of applying.

Have you navigated the financial strain of your student years or are you still in the thick of it? Tell me how it’s going in the comments!
