UK festivals done the frugal way

Music for When the Music’s Over

The best thing to do once the curfew hits at a festival is to go to your tent, tuck yourself into your makeshift bed and relax because you have a big weekend ahead of you! Or, if you’re not entirely dull, it’s the perfect time to listen to MORE music.

The problem here is, how much are you willing to spend or to put it another way- how much are you willing to save?

Cheap:
There is always the option of a boombox – they’re loud, they’re portable and they can play CDs or your iPod. Morphy Richards have one that costs just £45 that also charges your iPod as it plays – genius! A little too pricey for me though.

Cheaper:
I found this portable speaker for £10. It’s rechargeable, has great reviews and most importantly for festivals and travelling… it’s the size of my palm.
